Community State Bank of Rock Falls $50 for 50 days Giveaway:Official Rules

  1. Entry:  Except as limited by the eligibility requirements described below, all current customers of Community State Bank of Rock Falls (the “Bank”) automatically will be entered into the drawings (the “Drawings”) that will be conducted by the Bank for each of its five locations. The Drawings will be held once each day from Monday through Friday, beginning on Monday, October 13, 2025, and continue for ten weeks, until Friday, December 19, 2025 (the “Drawing Period”). A separate Drawing will be conducted for each of the Bank’s five locations each Monday through Friday during the Drawing Period, and customers associated with each location will be entered only into the specific Drawing for that location. If the drawing day falls on a Holiday, the drawing will be held the next business day. Any new customers of the Bank during the Drawing Period will be entered into the Drawing of the location at which they are a customer, starting the Monday after they become a customer of the Bank, until the Drawing Period concludes.
  2. No Purchase Necessary: No specific purchase or obligation is necessary or required for entry in the Drawings.
  3. Eligibility: Drawings are open to all current customers of the Bank that are Illinois and Iowa residents and over the age of 18, but customers only will be entered into the Drawing that will occur for the specific location of the Bank at which they are a customer. Any new customers will be entered into the Drawing for the specific location at which they become a customer of the Bank, as described above. If a customer terminates his/her relationship with the Bank during the Drawing Period, such former customer will continue to be an eligible entrant for the duration of the Drawing Period. Employees of the Bank, including officers and directors, and their immediate family members living in their household, are not eligible to enter the Drawings. After an eligible entrant has won a prize once, the winner will no longer be eligible to win again during the Drawing Period.
  4. Prizes: A cash prize of $50 per day at each location will be given for the 50 days (Monday through Friday) comprising the Drawing Period.
  5. Odds: Odds of being selected as the winner will depend on the total number of customers associated with each location of the Bank at the time of the Drawings for each location. Entrants cannot increase or decrease their likelihood of winning by increasing, decreasing, or maintaining their business with the Bank. Any relationship that such entrant has with the Bank is unrelated to the Drawings.
  6. Prize Restrictions: No assignment, transfer, or substitution of a prize is permitted.  Any federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. An eligible entrant to the giveaway only can win one prize during the Drawing Period.
  7. Winner Selection: Every Monday through Friday during the Drawing Period (October 13th to December 19th), a winner from among the eligible entrants for each of the Bank’s five locations will be selected in random Drawings. Drawings will be conducted at the Bank’s Rock Falls location by Bank staff. Winners need not be present to win and will be notified by Bank staff, as described below.
  8. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by phone, or other means if the winner’s current phone number is not available. The Bank will notify winners within 30 days after the Drawings occur. If the Bank is unable to contact the winner within 30 days, or if the winner declines the prize, the prize shall be forfeited by the winner and the Bank reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these Official Rules.
  9. Additional Terms:
    1. By participating in the Drawings, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the staff of the Bank that conduct the Drawings, which will be final in all respects. The Drawings are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Illinois. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
    2. The Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information associated with or utilized in the Drawings, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the Drawings. The Bank further assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
    3. Entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless, the Bank, its respective parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the Drawings or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
    4. If, for any reason, the Drawings are not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Bank that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Drawings, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Drawings.
    5. By accepting a prize, the winners agree to the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation or consideration, to the extent consistent with applicable law.
  10. Sponsor: The sponsor of the Drawings is the Community State Bank of Rock Falls, headquartered at 1801 1st Ave, Rock Falls, Illinois 61071.
